Struck by the meteoric rise of the career of actors Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, Kaling and her former roommate in college, Brenda Vitters, wrote a satirical play “Matt and Ben.” In the play, we are talking about two friends, winner of Oscar, who are trying to write the screenplay for the film adaptation of the novel by American writer Jerome Salinger’s ‘The Catcher in the Rye’.
