Daryl Christine Hannah, the niece of the famous cinematographer Haskell Wexler was born December 3, 1960 in Chicago. At school, she studied ballet with Maria Tolchief, and in addition to play soccer in the boys’ team.
After high school, Hannah graduated in Los Angeles University of California, and studied drama at Chicago’s “Goodman – theater” and in New York under the direction of Stella Adler.
