Anna Faris, the daughter of Irish and Germans, grew up in Edmonde (Washington, north of Seattle). Her parents disapproved of her desire to become an actress and when she was only 9 years old, she played her first role in Siettlskom Theatre (Seattle Repertory Theater). After graduating Edmonskoy of high school (Edmonds Woodway High School), she enrolled at the University of Washington, where she studied English literature.
The first big film role for her role was Janelle Bay in the movie “Lovers Lane” (1999).
