The famous American actress, winner of numerous awards, including the “Emmy” and “Golden Globe” and – the prestigious “Oscar”. The actress was especially popular in the middle of the last century.
 
Loretta Young (real name Gretchen Young) was born on January 6, 1913, in Salt Lake City in Utah. When the future actress was three years old, her family moved to Hollywood. There, as a very young lady, Gretchen (as, indeed, and her sister Elizabeth) starred in the movies and enjoyed great popularity among filmmakers and movie fans. She was considered an extremely talented child (indeed, it is, a three-year, was just adorable in the movie «The Primrose Ring», for example).
One of the stars of that time, Mae Murray, simply did fall in love with the little girl, and begged her mother to send her girl to the content. Despite the fact that the mother of Gretchen was against it, the young actress is still several years lived in the house of the famous Murray.
In 1928 Gretchen Young became “Loretta Young”, starring in the film «The Whip Woman».
At one time, Loretta Young (Loretta Young) has received a good education – she studied at the School of Ramona Convent Secondary School.
When the actress was seventeen years old, she met actor Grant Winters (who at that time was already 26) and soon married him. They married in Arizona and hoped that their marriage will last for many years. Unfortunately, the marriage did not last and in the next year fell apart.
