Actor John Corbett (John Joseph Corbett, Jr.) was born in 1961 in Wheeling, West Virginia, after graduation Wheeling Central Catholic High School he moved to California, where he began working at the plant steelworker. The work was not easy, however, and Corbett – not too physically weak man, his height is 196 cm. However, even such a big man overpowering hard physical labor and, six years later, John left the factory, over the years earned a back injury.
At the same time, Corbett entered the California College Cerritos, hitting a drama class of his longtime friend. While still a student, John was invited several times in various productions, where he showed some talent that was noticed. So, having secured assurances of his teachers that he had the talent there, John Corbett went to Hollywood.
However, Hollywood has not met a friendly young man, and before you break even in commercials, Corbett has changed several far from acting jobs, and then some advertising agency signed a contract with him to shoot a series of commercials.
Only after five dozen commercials Corbett finally saw on television, and his first acting job was in 1988, a recurring role on the TV series for teens ‘Wonder Years’ (The Wonder Years). So, gradually I became an actor John Corbett television. His next work on television has become a much more significant – and, since 1990, two-meter handsome John (as Chris Stevens) has become incredibly popular with viewers of the series ‘North Side’ (Northern Exposure).
In 1991, he first appeared in the film – in a military action movie John Milius ‘Flight’ Breaker ” (Flight of the Intruder).
In 1993, he played in the Western George Pan Kosmatos’ Tombstone: The Legend of the Wild West ‘(Tombstone), in 1997 – in the dramatic thriller Mick Jackson “Volcano’ (Volcano), and in 1998 starred in the TV sci-fi movie Joe Dante ‘Annals of Osiris’ (The Warlord: Battle for the Galaxy).
Corbett has worked, alternating work in television with the shooting in the movie, and another bright television work was the role of Aidan Shaw, the boyfriend of Carrie Bradshaw in the famous TV series ‘Sex and the City’ (Sex and the City).
John Corbett has played in a total of about fifty roles, among the last pictures with his participation films such as ‘Dream Land’ (Dreamland) Jason Metznera ‘Messengers’ (The Messengers) directors Oxide and Danny Pang, ‘Street Kings’ (Street Kings ) David Ayer, ‘The Burning Plain’ (The Burning Plain) Guillermo Arriaga and many others.
In 2009, Corbett starred in three films, including the work and the title role in the comedy melodrama Nia Vardalos ‘I hate Valentine’s Day’ (I Hate Valentine’s Day).

In his spare time, the actor enjoys playing baseball, basketball and shoot a gun. Corbett was seen in such mass entertainment events like the competition for the rapid consumer, he also worked with one of the invited leading auto show trucks in Winnipeg. Amuse, John learned to drive a car, pushing the pedal knees, that was not difficult when it is almost two meters tall.
