David Schwimmer (born. David Schwimmer, born November 2, 1966 in New York, USA) – American actor and director, best known for the role as Ross Geller in the television series “Friends.”
 
David was born on November 2, 1966 in New York (USA) in a Jewish family lawyers Arthur Schwimmer and Arlene Coleman. Shortly after birth, he and his family moved to Los Angeles.
He studied at the School of Beverly Hills (Eng. Beverly Hills High), where he participated in many productions, including “The Diary of Anne Frank.” After graduating from the theater department at Northwestern University, he, along with fellow students, to create a theater “Lukingless” (Eng. Lookingglass), and the association of actors, writers and directors. Schwimmer directed several plays and many appeared on television.
Career
David Schwimmer is best known as a performer of paleontologist Ross Geller in the television series “Friends.” For this role, he was nominated for the “Emmy” in 1995 as “Outstanding Actor TV series.”
In addition, he starred in such films as “The Wolf” and “Six Days Seven Nights.”
David also took part in articulating the famous cartoon “Madagascar”, which spoke for the giraffe Melmana.
Schwimmer played the role of director of some episodes of the TV series “Friends” and “Joe.”
