In 1997, the young artist was invited to film biopic “Gods and Monsters”. The film tells the story of James Weill – famous film director, had undergone the first on the movie screen story of Frankenstein. The film was a great success; in 1999 he was nominated for an Academy Award in three categories and received the “Oscar” for best screenplay.
 
Brendan James Fraser was born in Indianapolis (Indiana, USA). He graduated from the College of Arts Kornishsky.
In 1991, he starred in the film, which, however, because the screens and did not come out. But this debut borne fruit – the actor was invited to the shooting of two television films: “Child of Darkness, Child of Light” and “Guilty Until Proven Innocent”. Then there was the successful work in the title role in the film “The Man from Encino” (1992).
In 1993, Fraser starred in the low-budget romantic drama “Younger and Younger”, where his partners were on the set of Donald Sutherland and Lolita Davidovich. Then followed a series of films in which Brendan has firmly established itself versatile and talented actors who are equally good and comedic and dramatic roles.
