Darvell Jane was born on October 15th 1879, in Palmyra, Missouri. From an early age the young lady showed inclination towards art, especially to the circus. Jane dreamed that one day will certainly be Tsirkachka and is famous all over the world. However, her dream did not come true – Darvell father was strongly against the circus profession and daughter put an ultimatum.
Then cunning Jane changed her mind and instead circus seriously interested in theater, determined to become an actress – this time, in spite of parental dissatisfaction.
For the first time aspiring actress appeared on the stage of one of the theaters in Chicago, and in 1913 she made her debut in the film. Jane Darvell was a talented and versatile actress, and therefore are of particular interest to directors and directors.
In the next few years, the actress stopped playing in the theater and went headlong into the cinema. In just two years Darvell starred in almost twenty motion pictures, and only then returned to the stage. In the next fifteen years, the actress played brilliantly on stage, still to win the hearts of fans.
In 1930, the year she played a role in the movie “Tom Sawyer” and from that moment began a career in Hollywood Darvell.
In 1940, Jane starred in the movie “The Grapes of Wrath” and soon was nominated for an honorary “Oscar” – for Best Actress.
Jane was happy because her work was appreciated not only the audience but also kinoekspertami, the actress was awarded the most prestigious awards.
Throughout his long career she played nearly two hundred films and literally did not descend from screens since the early thirties to the early fifties of the last century.
