Jon Favreau was born on October 19, 1966 in New York’s Queens (New York, United States). He was the only child in a family of teachers. In 1984 he graduated from the prestigious Bronksskuyu high school science, then briefly studied at Queens College, and then went to Chicago to become a comedian. In Chicago, Favreau joined the troupe of improvisational troupe “ImrovOlympic”. Then he moved to Los Angeles, he began acting in small roles in mediocre films. Then he had an idea and script, which was later embodied in the film “Party People” (1997). Favreau acted as co-producer of the film with a budget of only 250 thousand dollars, it has played a major role (the other played his friend Vince Vaughn), and director Doug Liman became a novice. Picture made good fees and won critical acclaim and Favreau invited to appear in “black” comedy of Peter Berg’s “Very Bad Things” (1998).
