Jonathan Pryce was born June 1, 1947 in Halliwell, North Wales.
 
After receiving a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Drama, he entered into it, and at the end worked several seasons at Liverpool theater. Successfully performing in London in the play “The Comedians” Price moved to Broadway staging in 1976, after which he received the award “Tony” (analogue of Oscar Theatre). Then he appeared on Broadway in the musical “Miss Saigon” and “Oliver!”. He starred in about twenty-five films, the most famous of which can be called “Brazil” by Terry Gilliam.
